Hi and welcome to all Crime No Cat. We are a Texas based true crime podcast and I am

Shay. I'm Aaron. That's right. I expect to be saying starring Shay. Oh well starring

Bolt at us. It's been it's been a while. It's been a week. We took a week off because we

were really sick. We did not take a week off. We technically we didn't because we gave

you extra content last week. We did a double episode and we knew sickness was impending.

There was impending doom. We went ahead and got both those episodes out. We took a week

to recover. I'm still a little bit sick. Aaron is fully recovered, but it's an Aaron

episode. So we should be in good hands. Well, I don't know about that, but let's hope so.

All right. Well, do we have anything else to discuss in the beginning, except for our

dogs being really noisy? No, that's all the news I have. Brian won't settle down. There

she goes. Well, this is episode 12 Fort Worth double homicide and the case of the Vandeweege

family. Oh, watch out hometown Fort Worth funky town. That's where we're from. It absolutely

is. So if you live in the Dallas Fort Worth area and you pay attention to the news at all,

you've almost certainly heard of this case out of December 2016. It was all over the

news for a time. And I remember watching the first breaking news reports about it with

you. And I remember exactly what we said about it. So there was a lot of initial coverage

about this case, but the media really slowed down with it after a time. So changes are

even though you might be familiar with this case, you might not know the details and the

details are very crazy. Before we begin, I always try to give a heads up if there's anything

obviously upsetting in the stories that we cover. And I do want to let everyone know that
