for the Pittsburgh punk rock legend's anti flag known these guys for ages, great band, great people.

Chris picked Brandenburg Gate to discuss today an amazing song.

He talked about being so far away from home in Germany and knowing that his relationship back at home was ending.

The Brandenburg Gate being a metaphor when you're sad you find a connection and everything.

How Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine told them to take the woes out of the song, but they kept them anyway.

Good move guys.

He talked about how he was unavailable during the making of the album American Spring because he was going through a bad breakup

the band was what ruined everything he loved in his mind.

How Rick Rubin wanted to sign anti- Flag which allowed them to pretty much hand write their

major label deal because if

Rick was interested in the band everyone wanted them but they ended up going with

RCA and I also touched on how I was completely intimidated about touring with anti Flag for the first time way back in 2000.

I had seen pictures of them in magazines and they looked like these tough Pittsburgh punks.

I'm like these guys are going to kick our ass.

But they didn't. We had an amazing tour with them

and uh... 20 plus years later we're we're still great friends so uh... for all this and
