I want to start my thoughts today with a commercial.

This is a golf commercial that I saved from years ago,

and it lays out the foundation for where I'm going to take you today.

To Bobby Jones, golf wasn't just a game.

It was a science.

A subject worthy of study.

By focusing less on his score and more on the mechanics of his swing, he performed better than anyone in his day. It just goes to show you,

looking at data is one thing, knowing what to do with it. Well, that's a whole different game.

Now, on the surface, that seems completely normal. I can't imagine there are too many people out there

unless they are mentally challenged that disagree with that. Why would you disagree with that?

Unless you're a fool, an idiot, a moron, or just somebody who should be inside of that. Why would you disagree with that? Unless you're a fool, an idiot, a moron,

or just somebody who should be inside an asylum. And ultimately, what is it about? It's about

science, the scientific method, putting a hypothesis out there, testing it, looking at the results,

and trying to find agreement.

But these days, science has become a political weapon.

For example, I saw a meme today.

It said, trust the science is a euphemism for trust the system.
