Summary
The Alcan 5000 is a rally where experience, good judgement, consistency, reliability and resourcefulness are rewarded at the finish line. Since the competitors are penalized for arriving too soon just as much as they are for taking too long, these 5000 mile races place private teams on equal footing with their factory team competition. Rally Master Jerry Hines is here today to tell us all about this awesome sounding event.
