Gene, as many of you know, is recently retired from Barron's, the nation's premier financial

publication. And he is the director of the Soho Forum, which we'll have an opportunity to say

something about in just a moment. But we want to talk about some themes raised in Brian

Kaplan's book, The Case Against Education. I've had Brian on to talk about that book. But Gene's

review raises a number of other issues and some further supporting arguments. And, well,

frankly, it's always nice to have a chance to talk to Gene. And I knew he would have wonderful,

great, bold, and iconoclastic ideas about this.
