And when you have like a crisis of faith institutions at the degree that you do right now,

it's terrible. And I'm not, I wouldn't call myself an institutionalist, but I certainly recognize that

declining faith in institutions is a really dangerous thing for democracy, which is terrifying.

And I'm good luck trying to find me. I actually once had a court process server try to serve me for a lawsuit in Nashville.

And in the deposition, they were like, where do you live exactly? And it was like basically my life, some version of my lifestyle now where I don't like I almost am like on the run. You'd think I'm on the run based on like how much I travel and how little I sleep at my place. And so I had to spend the whole part of this opening deposition to be like, no, look, I wasn't even trying to evade you. I just have a very like flighty lifestyle. And I actually made the opposing lawyer laugh when I talked about it.

I just wrote an article for the post about like stupid pepper spray laws here and how hard it is

to get it.

And then I showed up at my desk the following day.

And there were a lot of pepper spray packages that had been sent to my desk at the post.

Oh, my God.

Now I have a lifetime supply.

If anyone in New York is having a hard time acquiring some, I'm your girl.
