an opportune moment for an episode on the Martha Stewart case.

But as interesting as that was, I also want to talk about insider trading more generally.

Should it be considered a crime or not? And what kind of

insight can Austrian economics and libertarianism bring to bear on that subject? Well, joining

us to talk about this is somebody who wrote extensively on the topic at the time, and that is

our old friend, Bill Anderson. William L. Anderson is a professor of economics

at Frostburg State University in Maryland, and I do want to tell you that it's not by any

means unlistenable. The audio is fine for this episode, but it's not quite where I might want it

in some spots. You'll be able to understand every

word that's said. That's not it. But here and there, you know, little issues. But when you hear

where Bill is broadcasting from, you will overlook any of those little glitches because it's a

miracle he's broadcasting at all. So that's what I'll say. And now I'll
