Today's conversation is with Neil Woods.

Neil Woods, who's written a book called Good Cop Bad War, but I'm going to be talking today about his new book called Drug Wars.

Neil spent 14 years infiltrating drug gangs as an undercover police officer befriending and gaining the trust as some of the most violent, unpredictable criminals in Britain.

He then went on to decide that that was all wrong.

And he is now chairman of Leap UK Law Enforcement against Prohibition, who they basically advocate the legalization of drugs and that is what I

will be talking to him about today he also has a podcast very successful podcast called

stop and search I just by the way first of all I'd like to thank at Funky Nige, who was the one who put me on to Neil.

I didn't, I just saw the impact of this world of illegal drugs, the war on drugs, has actually had on Neil.
