kind of go into the transfer portal here as they land Stefan Vox four-star

transfer guard out of Providence first big move for the line eye of the off

season as we wait on potential retention news.

We'll see if they add any more transfers.

But Kyle Tosk, this is a first big move for the Illini, one of the top 15 transfers in the transfer portal number 12 by 24-7 sports, or 13, sorry.

And then ESPN has them number nine, the athletic has them number 10.

Regardless, Kyle, this is a big first edition for the Illinois.

Heck of a start, heck of a start to the portal cycle, and that guard cell is immediately paying off for Illinois, which we've talked about, as good as you have in the country.

And it started with being able to reel in Quentin Coleman,

a really talented freshman while you were preparing for the final four.

But now to go out in the transfer portal and go get one of the most talented guards available,

a guy that I think is a great fit for what Illinois likes offensively,

for what the system can turn a guy like Stefan Vox into.

And you were looking for that lead guard type of guy and a guy you can handle an on-ball load

for this team, a guy you can be one of your top initiators, top offensive options.

Stefan Vox has that ability.

And I think at Illinois, in this winning environment,

in this offensive system, there's some pretty exciting things that could be in Vox's future in
