Helen, I am just back from a mini vacation.

A minvek?

Oh, yeah, apparently. A minve? Oh, apparently, yeah.

A minvac.

It was so mini, I didn't have time to say the entire thing.

Normally I go on a miniature vacationary, but this time I went on a minva.

Minvei.

I went down to La Jolla.

A friend of mine was performing at the wonderful La Jolla playhouse there. My partner share and I, we had a choice of two different dates that we could go see my friend perform.

So we went on Thursday. And then on Friday the next night, during the performance, the fire alarm went off.

And the entire theater of 200 people was cleared out and had to wait outside in the rain.
