it was like at one moment you guys were ascending and and then obviously you had the shoulder thing with

Tatis and then the worst part of all was when Scherzer was about to be a

Padre and then suddenly shifts to being a Dodger to go along with Trey Turner that was just a disaster that pretty much ended the season.

Yes, yes it did. Yeah, we really needed another ace and yeah and obviously Tautisis injury issues that have been consistent have been brutal but man what a prodigy that kid is. I've been telling my friends, you know, I got to spend my entire childhood watching, in my opinion, Mr. Padre, Tony Gwen, you know, I never thought I would see another

Padre that made me actually go like, this guy might be better than Tony Gwen and I like

last season I had that instinct pretty much the whole season how do you how do you

evaluate him as a player? Every once in a while you'll see a player and say,

okay, that guy's a future Hall of Famer.

You don't ever want to say, okay, this guy's a surefire Hall of Famer,

two or three years into a guy's career.

Right.

But you can tell when you watch a player, we all saw it. I mean, even back in the early 2000s, there were

certain players in that era where you're like, okay, we can see what's unfolding. You can see what's unfolding with Juan Soto, Mike Trout.
