Hello and welcome to episode 116 of what most people think, and we want to talk about

second jobs. This is my second job. I've got a third or fourth job. Do you know what I mean?

On the one hand, I know that a lot of us will be feeling angry about the Tories earning money on

the side, but also a bit jealous. I mean, I have to say with Jeffrey Cox, you know, the moment

that they say he was earning money on a beach in the Bahamas. Firstly, I'm like fucking, how dare he?

Secondly, I'm like, who books that gig? And then, fourthly, I'm not sure that he was earning money

on the beach. I know that, you know, it's the same with the Dominic Rob scandal. If you're

basically from a political point of view, if you're in a country with a beach, or if you're

doing a nearer beach, from the tabloids perspective, you were doing your job on a beach, all right?

And all that makes me think is that's aspirational. I want some of that, but look, you know, there's

legitimate questions being asked at the moment, and it is kind of funny how it's gone from

the owe-in-patterson fair being handled really badly to should MPs have second jobs at all,

which wasn't actually the question at the beginning of this, but this is how if you handle something

so badly, this is where it can end up. We've got a guest show today. We've got a guest show today.

We've got the brilliant Adam Row. A lot of you will be aware of Adam Row already. He's a liver

puddleian comic. That's always a weird word for me. He's a scouser, because you know, he's brilliant.

I wouldn't have had him on anyway, but it helps with the older diversity quotas to have a scouser on.

That's a thing now. You've got ever scouser on. And so we had a great old chat about his approach

to comedy about his have a word podcast, which has been a real phenomenon, and you know,

like how sometimes being a person on the left, he can get frustrated with the left when they're the

ones trying to kind of shut down and sense a comedy. So that is coming up. Last week's episode,
