Rams, but Kyle, huge response, very balanced offensively for Illinois, but dominant defensively,

especially in the half court. Andres Doryakovich, key late first half run to put Illinois back

ahead and then Illinois dominated the rest of the way.

Thomasovievich 12 point or 14 points, 11 assists or 11 rebounds, excuse me, in this one. Also,

Keith Wogler, strong second half, 13 of his 14 points there. But Kyle has becoming a regular

occurrence for Illinois. You get into Sweet 16 and it's eerie how similar this path was to 2024.

You had a 14 seed mid-major conference tournament champion.

Then you get the A-10 tournament champion, red hot, beats a number six seed from a power

or high major conference, excuse me.

And then you take advantage Illinois takes advantage dominates left

no doubt here in Greenville Kyle yeah draw broke their way but they took full advantage of it and

did it in pretty dominant fashion look like a team that coming off a disappointing loss in the big

10 tournament and some real questions entering this tournament.

This looks like a dangerous team again coming out of this weekend.

And they took it to two teams that they're just flat out better then.

But pose their will in both games.

And in this game, I thought, really handled some adversity pretty well in that first half

where things were kind of going awry. Illinois was bothered by a

VCU team that was playing really hard, was pressuring them, made a big rally after Illinois got off to

such a great start VCU really kind of punched back and took a 2826 lead. Illinois's offense
