Wake Forest star quarterback Sam Hartman is out indefinitely and we'll tell you how

We have the announcement that Star Wake Forest quarterback Sam Hartman is going to be out

indefinitely, at least that's what we've heard so far.

The repercussions will be felt all around the ACC.

But in my opinion, this pretty much locks up not only an Atlantic division title for

Clemson, but likely a spot in the college football playoff as well.

The reasons are as follows.

Every one of Clemson's toughest games in conference play are at home except at Wake

Forest.

Now I had that as their only conference lost.

And now that Hartman is likely out for that game, I have to go with Clemson winning that

on the road.

They play Miami and NC stayed at home and NC stayed beat him last year so they're going

to be a little upset.

So I don't see them dropping a conference game even if DJ doesn't have a super strong

sophomore campaign, remember club next waiting in the wings.

But this defense is going to be elite and the argument can easily be made that they will

have the best defense in the country this season.
