I like to think of myself as an entrepreneur because I've not held a job since I worked in the Circuit City warehouse age 19 pushing around TVs, okay?

So it's been a long time in my early 50s now.

What is it about entrepreneurship that excites so many people?

But the older that I get, I realize that's not necessarily true.

Most people aren't really excited by entrepreneurship. They're excited perhaps about the thought of it,

the rewards of it. Hey, I want to be Elon Musk. But what is it that drives so many people to either think about it and that some of those

people that are thinking about it jump off and just can't escape the pull?

If you look back at entrepreneurs over millennia, there is one characteristic that jumps out and all these entrepreneurs.

And we can know these people all the way back four, five thousand years ago by name.
