The National Championship game last night, Michigan won.

Hey, I predicted Michigan to win. It was in my bracket. That was my

pick, but that was not enjoyable. Michigan nor Yukon could hit a bucket, couldn't hit threes.

69 63 final score. Michigan, I believe, averaged 87 points this year, could only muster 69 points.

That was a brutal basketball game, and it concluded a brutal NCAA tournament overall, and I'm talking about men's and women's. The women's final four was a

disaster and was highlighted by Gino Ariama screaming at Don Staley. And the men's final four

was highlighted by Michigan winning a dud of a national championship game. Hats off to Bill

Raftery, hats off to

Grand Hill, hats off to Iron Eagle for selling that game last night. They did a good job of

ignoring the fact that no one could hit a three, that no one could score the basket. They

covered that up and didn't alert the audience to like how brutal that game was.

But any of us watching was like, is this really what college basketball is at this point?

Michigan with a bunch of players that no one knows or will remember, it's an all transfer portal team.

The entire deal.

You wonder why Michigan fans and the television networks won't let go of the Fab Five?

It's because they're the only basketball players we can remember from Michigan

because of what they did 30, 40 years ago. You can still remember and

spot Jalen Rose and Chris Weber and Juan Howard and Jimmy King and Ray Jackson. You can still

recognize them on site because they actually have a true legacy and a true connection to the

University of Michigan. This portal team, I watched, I was rooting for Michigan.

My bracket challenge needed Michigan to win.

But I didn't know any of these guys.
