My friends, welcome to the Adventure Sports podcast.

Today is going to be different.

I don't have a guest today, but I had some things I wanted to share with you.

And then I thought I would talk about scuba diving, snorkeling, free diving as a sport that you might enjoy.

And I have a lot of stories about crazy exploits that I did over the years that I thought I would share.

And forgive me in advance for just talking about my stuff.

But today is a solo podcast, so I guess that's what happens.

First, though, I wanted to talk a little bit about what people want out of life.

In all of these years of interviewing travelers, people that have traveled all over the world

and visited with folks from all sorts of cultures, different walks of life, different backgrounds,

different ethnicities, something has kind of risen to the surface, and I think

we can all relate to this. You don't even have to have traveled to know this, I don't think.

But it seems to be apparent. The human race generally wants the same things. Now, there are some

exceptions. It seems to me that most people want love as a

priority. They want to feel love. They want to share love. They want to experience love,

all the different facets of love. It's about camaraderie and companionship. It's about someone to be there so you're not alone, but it's also

about someone to share amazing experiences with. It's about someone to work hard with side by side

to accomplish the goal and someone to visit with on a cold winter's night. But there's also
