It's Illinois not able to close this one out, had some opportunities in regulation,

but overtime did not go well as Michigan State beats Illinois, 85, 82,

ends a two-game skit for Michigan State gets them right back in the Big Ten title race,

puts Illinois behind Michigan by a game in the Big Ten title race.

Illinois had a lot of opportunities to win this game, which says something about this team, Kyle, because they did not shoot it very

well. 10 of 36 from three, shot 36 percent for the night. One of their worst shooting performances

of the season. Keaton Wogler finally had an off game. Ended up with 16 points, but shot two for 16

from the field. Michigan State. They did a great job on him. And Jeremy Fiers Jr., center of

controversy, but a very good basketball player, 26 points, 15 assists. He controlled this one,

Kyle. A lot of the plays Illinois had made in some of these close games, these close out games, these tough

road environments, Illinois just did not make tonight, Kyle. No, they didn't. It just did not play

very well in this game to finally have a truly cold shooting night, 10 for 36, which I believe

is their second worst three-point shooting performance of the season,

to have your lottery pick, point guard, shoot two for 16 from the floor after pretty much

being invincible for two straight months. And, you know, to give up minus 10 on the glass in this

game as well against the Michigan State team that obviously is

extremely physical and give up some of the key second chance points that you did in
