She's the former chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic.

Bill has seen a lot. He teaches at Harvard. His book, True North, been a bestseller many times over.

We discuss his newest edition today, and we go into a lot of different names that you will recognize from Mark Zuckerberg to Warren Buffett,

to name a few. The key part of this conversation is leadership, taking from Bill insights,

morsels, nuggets that hopefully we can all apply. And I think the most important thing when you

listen to Bill, positive attitude. I'm not going to tell you his age.

You are a man who has been studying, living, teaching, leadership for a long time.

And here we are, and now you know a little bit about my background, beyond a guy who's written a bunch of quant investing books and running this podcast for 10 years and talking to a ton of people that you probably know.

But as we think about leadership today in a world, especially if we just think about America for a

moment, that's pretty fractured, pretty tribal, pretty polar, misinformation from all sides,

from both sides, hardcore politics these days where you scratch

your head for a second, you say, man, this doesn't look so good for the future. Truth and
