A guy I have a lot of respect for and Paul Feinbaum said recently that Nick Saban always

hasn't excused when he loses.

Our things don't go how he wants after Saban said last year was a rebuilding year.

I could not disagree more and the facts back it up.

In the 2021 draft, Alabama had six guys go in the first round and the names are insane.

Jalen Waddle, Patrick Sir Tann, Devonte Smith, Mac Jones, Alex Leatherwood and Najee Harris.

Not to mention the two second rounders and hell, even the long snapper got drafted.

I know Alabama recruits on an insane level in the transfer portals hot, but replacing

that production is not only improbable, it's nearly impossible.

So in theory, it actually was a rebuilding year.

Oh, and by the way, all those guys I just mentioned in the first round, yeah, they're

starters.

So Feinbaum also said that Saban complained about NIL and he did and guess what?

He turned out to be right, but at some point you have to embrace it and Saban's done

just that.
