I always get great ideas from you, and I'm very, very glad to be talking to Larry, because in addition to being a New York Times bestselling author of many, many books, by the way, he's known for his Monster Hunter and Grim Noir Chronicles series in particular. He also has an interesting background when it comes to guns and firearm instruction.

And we're going to talk to him about that.

So he's very, very knowledgeable about this. And he also knows the arguments with regard to gun control, pro and con.

And he's written some really, really good stuff on the subject.

to the show. Larry, thanks for being here. Hey, thanks for having me on. You are quite a successful and

prolific novelist, and yet here you are on my podcast talking about gun rights. How is that coming about?

Well, back before I became a writer, I was in the gun business for many years.

My background, I was an NFA dealer. I was an SOT. I owned a gun store in Utah. I was a concealed

weapons instructor for about a decade. I taught a lot of people, did a lot of training, love competition shooting.

I wrote nonfiction for gun magazines, that kind of thing.
