1:37.7	He stepped down from party leadership after an 18-year run making him the longest serving leader in Senate history,
1:47.1	GOP Senator John Thune of South Dakota won the vote.
1:51.5	He beat Texas Senator John Cornyn on the second round of voting.
1:56.9	And he also beat out Rick Scott.
