On June 12th, 1977 a number of girl scouts arrived at Camp Scott in Mayes County, Oklahoma for what was to be a summer adventure. During the night, a camp counselor woke up to a strange and guttural noise coming from the woods outside her tent. As she traveled down a path through the rain with her flash light the noise seemed to stop and start with every move. She would have no idea that by morning the explanation behind that noise would unveil one of the most grisly murders in modern history. 0:40.7	I made us get back into the car which is the craziest part because I had convinced myself in like I don't know the fright of going off the cliff but also being stranded outside of the car and in the middle of nowhere and no cell reception, I convinced myself

0:59.8	And I was dead serious.
1:01.6	There was nothing in my mind, no shadow of a doubt a doubt where I was like that's not a person or I'm seeing things or my eyes are playing tricks on me because it's like two in the morning at this point I was like there's someone in these woods I was losing my mind I was losing my mind in Kentucky.
