Some people thought that the summertime hearings would fizzle out over time, but they actually picked up steam as June turned to July.

TV ratings stayed strong throughout the series, it's weird to say it's a series, but it was a summer series of television, and it turned out to be one of the highest rated shows of the summer.

So despite the mega-media types who claimed no one was watching, in fact the hearings reached tens of millions of people.

Wrong again, Mr. Potato Head, sorry, not only were the ratings a boss, but now we have new pulling the shows that the hearings had virtually no impact on changing the public's views whatsoever.
