They try to take conservatives out of context to ruin their lives. Like, that's like their jobs. And they've had that job for quite a long time. So long, I said to the producer today, I was like, you know, we should go back to the first time. I remember the first time Media Matters wrote something about

Was a guest on the Glenn Beck program. So there you go. 2004. And I remember when that happened. I remember being in the studio when we heard that there was a organization that was targeting us just for interviewing a government official. We were like, hey, it's cool. We got Colin Powell on, like, you know, talked to him at the time. I mean, you know, it was in that era. We talked to him about a bunch of stuff revolving around the war and torture and all the things that were in the news. And this organization just started like ripping us for no reason. We were like, who the hell are these guys? And at first, it was kind of like, it was kind of interesting to go through. It was kind of it was almost scary. Remember, this is the beginning of the internet, right? Like, you know, we're not really at the point where social media is really around. So it was weird. And they started, of course, like email campaigns and letter writing campaigns to our advertisers. The same schick they've been doing for 100 million years. Didn't work then, doesn't work now. But it was a, there was a game plan there. And I remember the first time being like, oh, my gosh, like they're going to go after all of our advertisers. And then you're like, you sit back and you realize, well, wait a minute, these people all own companies. They're smart people. They're not idiots, right? They're not going to fall for the fact that they're getting the same form email from 200 people. and then next week at the same form email from 200 of the same people
