where I live. It was well into the one-tent out in Woodland Hills. It was like 121 degrees,

so it was massive, massive heat. Now, this normally would be kind of minor news. It'd be kind of

minor news because, hey, it's California. It gets hot in the summer. Who knew? except for every human being who has ever lived in California for literally thousands of years? Well, that became big news. Why? Well, because it turns out that California's government is garbage. It turns out that this state, which has the highest tax rates in America, they've got a tax rate, the top tax rate in California is currently 13.8%.

Yeah, then under the federal rate, and that means that people who are in the top tax bracket

may be paying well over 50% of their income to the state and federal government. California also

has tremendous sales taxes, tremendous local taxes. The only taxes that are decent in California,

and that's because of a proposition Democrats seek to overturn.

Proposition 13 are the property taxes.

Every other tax is extraordinarily high here in California.
