Doing good, man. Glad to be back, you know, still out there in Hawaii, solving mysteries, you know, protecting

the innocent, soaking up the sun, flying in choppers.

You know, we're going to be talking about a horror movie today, so I bring in my horror

movie officianto.

What movie are we talking about today, Brett?

We are talking about the modern masterpiece, Cocaine Bear.

We want to send a little love out to our lover sometimes hugger, Ty Frank.

He's got a little stomach bug tonight, and he was partying in highfalutin parties,

and I guess he got a little highfalutin bug and so he's uh stuck in his bedroom and on the pot so we'll send a little love

because he's not going to make a podcast today it's more like TMI in that guy you know what I mean

so Brett I want to know first of all how you heard about the movie, what you thought about

the trailer when you first saw the trailer and what your initial experience was like.

Well, you know, what's funny is like I always, you know, I'm like reading deadline and variety

and just following, you know, just Hollywood news and updates all the time.

And I remember when they announced

cocaine bear, I was like, wait, this is a joke, right? Like, is it April fools? Like, I just

couldn't believe that it was real. And then I looked up, like, the story that it's based

off, it's loosely based off of a true story. But it is crazy that there's any amount of truth to the story

at all. So I was like, it more just kind of like lingered in my subconscious just because the name

stood out. And I actually never saw the trailer. I just saw the poster because this coffee shop I go to
