Hey, it's a pleasure to be back. I'm glad to be back and hanging out with you again.

It's awesome. It was awesome hanging out with you at the American Freedom Tour and in Phoenix. That was really cool. A bunch of a bunch of guys from from Nashville, so forth that we have on our show all the time we were all hanging out there. So together was great.

But let's talk about something that's not so great. Let's just talk about the current economy right now and how you see inflation impacting business owners like yourself.

Give us a sense generally of what you see with inflation, but also give us a sense too if you think we're headed into recession.

Yeah, it's one of those tough calls, right? I mean, I'm not a professional at it, but what I when I look at stuff, you know, especially in my line of work.

I've seen the pandemic really make a large amount of problems to business owners, you know, because I talk to business owners all day long.

I talk to CPAs all day long that are referring to our businesses or business owners that they currently do their taxes for and stuff like that.

The one thing I've kind of noticed is some things are turning around, but there's also delay, you know, in rental income, for instance.

Like there's certain places that have turned it back on recently that other ones are, you know, starting to suffer.

I mean, I'm in the commercial real estate business and I get messages all the time on different opportunities now that I wasn't getting a year to go because it was just a delay of the problems of inflation and, you know, employment status and stuff like that.

Right. Yeah, I just interviewed the other day, our mutual friend Scott Sheel.

And we talked a lot about red states versus blue states in terms of the impact that they're, you know, they're contrasting political leanings have for the economy.

So what's your take on how businesses in red states versus blue states? How are they doing in terms of the economic climate that we're facing?
