0:54.4	documentary and as a white woman myself I learned a lot about race and racism that I didn't know.
1:03.8	So I was wondering if you could help us,
1:06.0	or maybe primarily white audience I think understand a little bit.
1:10.6	I guess the first basic question is like what is racism and how do we diagnose ourselves with it?
1:19.6	Well, I mean the first thing you have to understand is that there's no solid definition for racism,
1:30.0	because if there's a solid definition for it, then that means it's possible to not be it.
1:37.6	Because you could look at the definition and say, well, that's not me, I'm not that. but the most important thing that you learn that I
1:45.3	learned on my my journey of self-discovery is that as a white as a white man myself
1:57.6	I'm racist no matter what there's no way to escape it and so I guess the definition of racism is whatever you happen as a white, whatever you happen to be thinking or feeling at this very moment in time,
2:07.0	that is what racism is.
2:10.0	And if you think or feel something totally different in the next moment, then that is also racism.
2:16.4	Because keeping something in mind and Robin De Angelo, the great Robin De Angelo,
