from when he was in the Navy we are willing to give you a year supply of of e-shirts and foot rubs just to find out that that information but so some of you that are familiar with us. You'll probably recognize Matt's name. Matt is the fella that forced me to do the the leadership in the shadows book and I thought I knew Matt before that project.

That project started but by the end of it. I would say we've become pretty good friends in that in that process and it was that was a fun process. It was very fun and I mentioned you before when we spoke.

Thank you for for bringing me on that project and how fortunate I was to for you to let me do that. In addition to producing what I think is a terrific book I learned a tremendous amount during that.

You know I know the early on you said that when I was going to review what you were writing you wanted me to be very candid and I'd like to think I lived up to that. You most certainly did.

I think we ended up with a terrific product afterward and I'm a huge supporter for the book I've had people come and speak to me about it and of course they always ask start off by saying oh you know kind of I am and I have to tell them that I do.

But again terrific project a very fortunate and and we we did get to know each other very well and I have to say I learned a tremendous amount during that time I mean I had some ideas about leadership but going back and forth every day which is what we did.

I learned even more.

Yeah it was fun it was it was it was nice for me to be kind of allowed behind the curtain of law enforcement to with you telling me some different stories and kind of how things are in law enforcement versus the military that was very enlightening to me so with that with that being said Matt is currently law enforcement officer in Florida.

We're not going to really go any more in depth in that because we're here to talk about leadership today and and where this came about.

I got an email.

I got an email from Matt a few days ago and it said.

Commentary you've been waiting for and it is we're going to get to that in a minute and it is awesome and it's going to be fun to dig through this everything from he said where did you get the headset looks like you've been doing some gaming.

But now today you have pretty much the same headset so.

Wanted to match when I was preparing for this hi hi so.

Okay so the first thing we're going to dig into Matt I've got some I've got some other emails and Matt and I talked a little bit about this before we we went live here but.
