And yes, Illinois at Indiana is a top 20

matchup. It's a big game on the Big Ten slate. The biggest game on the Big Ten slate. Yes,

I'm putting it in over Michigan at Nebraska, though that's a big one as well. But this is just

the second time overall that Illinois and Indiana football have met

in a ranked matchup. It's the first time since October 28th, 1950, when number 12 Illinois beat

Indiana, number 19 at the time, 20 to nothing in Champaign. Saturday's game is the first

top 20 matchup played in Bloomington since 1987 when Indiana beat Michigan.

Pretty amazing where these programs, how far they've come, where they're at now.

Illinois, they're looking for a road win as a top 10 team for the first time since 1990.

This game could catapult one of these teams, the winner, into the real college football playoff contention.

Of course, Indiana was there last year.

Going 11-1 in the regular season, soft schedule, albeit, but they crushed some teams.

And they got to the college football playoff where they didn't put up a very competitive game against Notre Dame.

But they have a lot of players back.

And then they went into the portal and added one of the best transfer

quarterbacks that was available in Fernando Mendoza from Cal.

So for Indiana, there's a chance in front of their home crowd

to even further have an arrival moment to say, yes, we are for real.
