Summary

We all know the story of the sinking of the Titanic, but the early 20th century also saw several other equally tragic maritime disasters that are almost forgotten to history. In this episode I tell you the stories of the capsized S.S. Eastland, and of the tragic fire that swept through the cruise ship the Morro Castle. The story of the Morro Castle is especially disturbing because much of the evidence points to the fire being deliberately set by one man.  Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/theconspiratorspodcast Notes: http://www.eastlanddisaster.org/history/what-happenedhttps://allthatsinteresting.com/ss-eastland-disasterhttps://mashable.com/2016/11/19/morro-castle-disaster/https://weirdnj.com/stories/mystery-history/morro-castle/https://www.ripleys.com/weird-news/ss-morro-castle-shipwreck/ Music: Dexter Britain, The Tea Party http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Dexter_Britain/ Alex Mason & The Minor Emotion http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Alex_Mason__The_Minor_Emotion/ Learn more about your ad choices.
