I'm JJ Stankovitz joined by John Moon Mullen.

Moon, we're potting today about Albert Wilson and just the wide receiver position in general.

Let's start with Albert Wilson because I had a chance to be in Brett Veach's media scrum today.

And when he was asked if he would like to keep Albert Wilson, the first words out of his mouth were, quote, well, Matt's in Chicago.

Matt being, of course, Matt Nagy.

Look, the Matt Nagy-Albert Wilson connection, it makes too much sense, you know, on the surface Matt Nagy. Look, the Matt Nagy Albert Wilson connection, it makes too much sense.

On the surface, Nagy and Wilson worked together for a while in Kansas City. Wilson had a couple

of really good games under Nagy when he was the offensive coordinator last year. And then Wilson's

best career game came with Nagy calling the plays in the last game of the 2017 season against the Denver Broncos.

The chiefs really like Albert Wilson.

It sounds like Matt Nagy really likes Albert Wilson, and it sounds like the feeling around the league is that the bears are going to wind up signing Albert Wilson.

Immediate reaction to that moon.

You know, as a receiver, you always like the guy that called your number 10 times in a game,

which he did for Wilson and got him 10 receptions.

I think this is a huge, and it's not just a dot connection.

I mean, this is, you can, the comfort level that a head coach has with key players is everything.

And this is somebody who was part of developing Wilson, knows his capabilities, and he's

also, now he's working with a quarterback that he got to know, and he feels like he got to know

in the draft process.

So I think the comfort level of the incoming head coach is huge.

And this really gives them, he's a slot receiver primary.
