Summary

Jemma has had a set two with a Tory MP but before they get into that, Marina and Jemma talk about what's been another harrowing week in the Middle East. It's such a sensitive topic and some broadcasters and politicians are acquitting themselves better than others. What's inarguable is that the world has never needed good leadership more. On a far more optimistic note, in Poland the 'youthquake' have ensured the end of the far right populist government. Donald Tusk has won the election thanks to proportional representation. Marina and Jemma are struck by how many young voted and wonder what can be done over here to create the same sort of engagement. Sadly, over in Australia, democracy has had a bleaker result as the recent referendum saw Australians voting against allowing the indigenous population a say.
