So glad that you're with me for another episode and we have a poem on today from Makalia M.

And Makalia's poem reads, I crown myself with a crown made from the crystallized tears that I

have wept. As I wear the scars that have brought me here, in this reflection you see a warrior,

yes, that is me. Oh, what a journey it has been, the path home back to me. Judge me not for my mistakes,

you see, as I gave myself that same grace, or allowing people to tell me who I should be,

as I walk these blood and tear-stained streets. I forge a path for those who come after me

and carry on my back the dreams of those who came before. As I heal, you see, my tribe smiles at me.

No, it may not be perfect, nor do I want it to be. This imperfect healing is how I journey back to me,

releasing the things that have been said and done to me, forgiving those who have harmed me

and finding strength in embrace of the divine. Yes, yes, yes. I love it. I love you crowning yourself

out of the tears and the scars and recognizing our beauty even in the imperfection.

As we journey home to ourselves and so, Makalia, I thank you for that. I love your peace,
