I don't know how to hype myself. I've just, if you haven't been to a live show live, uh, and you're just hearing this

recording now, I don't know how to start one of these things because I, you know, I'm talking and

popping off and I hang out for like the hour beforehand, I jump in and out. And, uh, so there's

no hype. There's absolutely no hype. I just kind of walk out and start doing it.

And it feels like a fucking beginning to a Netflix comedy special every time.

I don't know if you guys watch any Netflix comedy specials,

but there's this requirement in comedy specials where there has to be an introduction.

And this is like this well-known universal thing.

This goes beyond Netflix.

This goes back to Comedy Central.

This goes back to HBO and their stand-up specials where, like, for whatever reason,

market research has found out you can't just begin a... Like, if somebody's on Netflix, and they choose stand-up comedy, and they click on a stand-up comic,

apparently the market research still says, hey, hey, don't show a stand-up comedy and they click on a stand-up comic, apparently the market researcher still says,

hey, hey, don't show a stand-up comic that'll weird people out. Give them an introduction.

So, I don't know why. There's no other medium that they do this for. I never click on a sitcom

and then get like a little 30 seconds, 60 seconds of like, hey, hey, we're about to do

situational comedy.
