Hi, everybody, Tom Woods here. This is the third episode of the week. I told you there'd be only three

this week. I'm on the Contra Cruise. As a matter of fact, I'll have some stories for you

when I get back, but they're all going to make you feel bad. I'm sorry to say. They're all

going to make you feel bad about not being here, and that's not really my intent. I really just

want to tell some funny stories. But anyway, for today, I'm sharing with you part two of that

talk I gave that I used as an episode a week or so ago on

labor unions and the history of labor unions and labor law in the United States. This is part two of

that. This was a talk delivered probably in 2005 at the Mezes Institute. And remember,

if you've not heard my public speaking before, you have to trust

me when I say I'm normally more dynamic and joky than this, but I gave this very academically,

but it's not my usual style. All the same. The material really packs a punch, and I include a little

portion of the question and answer bit at the end.
