Joining me as usual is Patrick. Patrick, my whole world shattered before we began recording

today because we had to change our schedule around this week because Patrick has said, hey,

I'm taking a little mini vacation with my wife. That's what Patrick said.

Right.

And I said, where are you going?

And he said, Palm Springs, Florida.

I said, oh, that sounds like, could be nice.

So then, of course, we're firing up the podcast machine this week.

And I say, like a normal friend and co-host, hey, how did the Palm Springs trip go?

And I come to find out that Patrick lied to me about going to Palm Springs.

And he just said, I lied to you.

I told you the wrong thing.

Patrick, what the hell?

We went to Calais, San Lucas, Mexico.

And I don't know if you've watched the news in the past couple of weeks, but some things were going on down there.

And it became very clear, very quickly that if I mentioned to anybody that I said Mexico, it then resulted in a 15 to 20 minute conversation about it, what you're doing,

a safety field down there. And by the time I had that fourth one, David, I didn't want to do it

anymore. I was like, I've done my research. My wife and I almost canceled the trip. Like,

we like taking X, Y's. Anyway, like, I'm'm doing it here i can you can you feel the anxiety

i was like i'm trying to have a vacation and i don't want to repeat myself and so i eventually

decided i told oh i'm like i'm just going to tell people we're going to palm springs that wasn't
