And Derek Piper is back home from Peach Jam, his annual journey.

But it's kind of a finality of it, potentially, for Derek Piper, his sendoff.

And we're getting one more podcast out of you, Piper.

But we're happy we are because it's kind of starting or ending the way we started,

which is focusing on high school basketball

recruiting. And we'll talk about how much of a focus we actually will focus on basketball recruiting

moving forward with the prep side of things because it's really interesting. But how are you, man?

Good to see you. How was Peach Jam? I'm doing good. Hope you enjoyed Vegas. I had a good time

going down to, yeah, a familiar

place for me. And I said on the last podcast, it was 2014 was my first peach jam. So really just

kind of tried to soak it in and tried to obviously appreciate the access that you get. You're

around coaches from all over the country. You're able to sit amongst them when you got the media pass,

which thankfully the last two years I've roped that back in.

They got the cut down on the post-COVID window,

but we got back in and we enjoyed it.

Obviously, you watch a lot of talent,

and there's always a good turnout of fans, too, down there as well.

So you just think back

to specific moments games players that you saw there through the years and um this one was a good one

and i got a chance to talk to some of the staff and obviously they asked about me and my future and

my time and decision and everything so um appreciative of them, as I wrote in my
