| 2:01.7 | Welcome. Welcome to the show. I'm excited to be here. We're excited to have you because we, the part of the thing I like to do in our show is bringing influential and people, Latinos who have made a big impact in our community. And your millennial loteria has gone so big that you're now selling in Target. Yeah. So that is a huge accomplishment. That is amazing. That is, that was huge for my like business. That's the moment where I think, uh, it escalated into just being something that was kind of like a side hustle. Yeah. Something that wasn't really paying the bills. It was just sort of like, it was an extra income, you know? Yeah. But then once we got in Target, that was like all of a sudden like what you were, what we were selling in a year, you know, we were selling in like a day or two just to them. You know what I'm saying? So it was like huge in terms of like I quit my job. It sort of like it was a growth. Yeah, yeah. And then next year we are getting into Walmart. Oh, congratulations. I like how you skip that step though. You went from like the ghetto Walmart to the bougie target. And we're like, you know what, let's get the ghetto Walmart. And then we're going to go to Walmart after that. But you skip that one... The one extra step, though, the straight to the swap meet. No, we were there. We were there. Yes, that's how we started. We started, like, so, like, there's, like, hundreds of small independent Latino stores. Because they're the ones who really knew what they were. Yeah, exactly. They're the ones who are not lotter. So we have Artilexan, San Diego, so many, like in, in San Antonio, there's so many stores. Like, those are our big hubs, like our market. When we're not in Latinos, in California, in Texas, in Arizona, and all those, there's going to be spending more than a million lotteria where we started. And then that's what made all the big stores kind of take notice. Look at it. |
| 2:37.8 | Yeah. Sona, there are those, there are vending, more of the milanoteria where we started. And then that's what made all the big stores kind of take notice. Look at it, yeah. Yeah, and Target was really, they're, like, hats off the target. They're always looking for Latino products and Latino entrepreneurs because they know the buying power that we have. I mean, Latinos, we have so much buying power, but there's not a lot of options for us. So they now see that, you know, there's at least an option for Latinos on the game mile. |
| 2:55.2 | Nice. |
| 2:56.3 | Yeah, yeah. |
| 2:56.9 | So I think that to me was the moment is like, shit, I made it. |
| 3:00.8 | I'm going to my target. |
| 3:02.1 | That's, people can go like and get it. |
| 3:04.0 | And so we sold this over the holidays. |
| 3:07.5 | There was like one week where we sold like 15,000 copies in that week. Wow. Congratulations. Whoa. Yeah. Congratulations. That is not. Yeah. That is amazing. It's connecting with people. Yeah. How was that feeling when you like you walked into Target and you're like, that's my game? Dude, when I first came to United States, because I no I'm from Guatemala. |
| 3:26.2 | And then I didn't know anyone in California. |
