Welcome to You Me and Mike. I'm Jen Toddrick,

otherwise known as the Rambling Red Head on Instagram and the host and designer of No Dimmerino on HGTV.

And I'm Mike, and I'm also known as Mike.

And he's Mike. A plus.

Well, that sounds really important. It's now as important as the third person in

sequestion, which is you. We love sharing our life with all of you on Instagram and HGTV,

but here we get to dive deeper into topics that you suggest. Answer questions you submitted.

And share stories that impact us all. So let's jump right into it Jen. What's the most requested

topic for this week? This week, a lot of people have asked for just our story, how we started as

a couple before businesses, before HGTV, before Instagram, even before kids. Who are we when we

met? So I think it's really important to dive in and introduce ourselves and say, hey,

this is us now, but this is how we were when we met each other. Spoiler, I was Mike and you were

Jen. That is true. So in the episode, it's done. So we are. We have a really weird setup. We're in

our guest bedroom and I'm like looking over Mike over my microphone. I can see like only his eyes,

eyebrows, in the top of his head. It's my best features. So we're like having a conversation

only at our eyebrows. It's fine. It feels natural. It's sort of like, I wasn't going to say it's

like being in a swimming pool with your eyes above the water, but then you can talk. It's nothing

like what we're doing. It's nothing has absolutely nothing like we're doing. It's a horrible

analogy. Thank you. You're pretty good at them. Usually and I'm the bad analogy person.
