But first, what are you reading, Bria?

I'm going to talk about a book I read while we were on, while we were on our break,

while we were on our break that no one knew we were having.

And by break, you mean we were both working more than we ever have in our

life.

I got to read Cameron Hurley's The Light Brigade and I just wanted to talk about it on the show because I feel like I wasn't going to get an opportunity otherwise because I loved it. It was fantastic.

Camera mother-fucking Hurley. It's great. So, Karen Hur clearly has a background in military things.

Yeah, she did it. Military. What is it? She went to college for like strategy?

Warfare in Southern Africa or something. Yeah, it's strategy, wouldn't be right.

But it's like, it's very clear that she understands wars in a way that I do not understand.

And so, well, first of all, this book is about like interplanetary battles but it also is

about time travel which is crazy and it has all the stuff about like the way

wars are fought from like the point of view of like one of the low level sort of grunts.

But then also like what it means to be traveling through the various ranks and I don't even
