episode we wouldn't be doing Florida Adventures again. We've done three in a row. And we're

going to shift to a different environment, and that is Alaska. The next

couple episodes are going to feature Alaska, giving you a little bit of a spoiler with Monday's

brand new episode. But this one is with the legendary, absolutely legendary, Alaskan-based

adventurer Roman Dial. This one is done by, this episode is hosted by Kurt.

It's from 2015, so throwing it back almost 10 years now.

And it was, what we're going to be talking about is Alaska pack rafting mostly and just

exploring that great frontier that is that is Alaska it'll feature

things about packrafting ice skating like through ice skating backpacking self-supported resupplied

trips um and something you might not know about roman he he's a professor at alaska pacific

university um but also this interview was

not long after his son disappeared in the jungles of Central America. And, you know, we didn't

really get into that here. I don't know how much of the story was really out there at the time.

But since, Roman has written a book called The Adventurer's son, where he and his wife spent years as, you know, any parent would,

searching for their son who was lost in the Central American jungles.

And, you know, I mean, it's out there and pretty obvious when you start Googling that, you know,

they found his son.

They found the remains.

And so he took time to grieve, of course, and wrote a book about it to tell the story.

And, you know, we didn't really get into that here.
