Jansen, welcome to the show. Thanks, I'm so glad to be here. Well it's great to talk to you in person.

So Jansen you're a person who has a blog called Every Day Reading which my blog readers told me about

by the way. That's right. I forgot that. Yeah. The reading community it looks out for each other.

That was so nice. I was really super flattered. So obviously reading plays an important role in

your life. You even professionally were a reader and a curator of books during your time as

the children's librarian. Now you read for your own, you read for your kids. Tell me a little bit

about the role of reading in your life. Well I grew up in a family that loves to read and I

feel like as an adult now I recognize that it's not that common to have two parents that both

are pretty big readers. I'm listening to one summer by Bill Bryson right now which is really

good and there's a whole section about Charles Lindbergh and it's so interesting to me because I

personally interested in Charles Lindbergh because we went on a family vacation when I was probably

10 or 11 and my dad was reading Charles Lindbergh's biography. Why I have no idea why that was
