and March Madness isn't full swing.

Major League Baseball owners and players finally came to an agreement yesterday.

My God, on a new collective bargaining agreement after the second longest work stoppage in the

history of the game.

This progress was well received by fans all over, and by the players who got a lot of

what they were asking for from minimum salary to change just a service manipulation, a

16 draft lottery that should curtail tanking among other things, while it is great that

both sides finally got together so we can actually have a full season 162 games, which

is still too many.

I do have one message to Major League Baseball decision makers at the highest level.

Make sure you keep your eye on the ball.

The fans are the ones who will ultimately decide whether baseball thrives or delves

in the mediocrity from a consumption standpoint as we move toward a new style of media, and

being able to negotiate is important.

We all get that duh, but doing it in a timely manner to put a product out on the field

is also just as valuable.

Rob Manford said that he needs to do a better job promoting good relationships between

the players and owners of Major League Baseball.

Let's start that now, instead of waiting and holding each other hostage for another

half decade, so I will say once more to everyone in Major League Baseball that can affect
