Today we meet Aaron a 59 year old living in Flagstaff Arizona.

By day she manages an IT support team at Northern Arizona University and in

her spare time she teaches business communication something she really enjoys,

which is handy considering the cost of living in Flagstaff.

Flagstaff is a higher cost of living.

The median home price right now is somewhere in the 300,000th,

you know, and higher than Phoenix in Tucson and it's a lot of people with

second homes not a lot of industry or jobs yet you live here you're going to be working a couple of jobs.

And that's exactly what she does. Now let's go back to the beginning of Aaron's debt story.

Let me tell you how I got into debt. for years and years I didn't make enough money.

But you don't realize that.

You know, oh things get bad, you don't have any money in savings, something happens,

oh dear, I got, you know, credit cards cards and then you kind of buckle down and you try to

really limit your costs but it's always really hard when you realize you're just not making enough money and

there's not a lot of side jobs you can do.

It's just taken for granted that of course you're going to have debt.

Aaron was experiencing the all-too-common phenomenon,

too much month at the end of the money,

and, bit by bit, her debt was accumulating.

Hey, I like to eat out.

I like to buy a book.
