Hello, my babies. Welcome back to the Curious Podcast.

Here we are again, just you and I in an auditory form,

getting to know each other just a little bit better.

Well, let's be honest, I'm not getting to know you, but I wish I could.

You know what I mean? But inevitably, this is our form of communication.

I basically balk and just sort of talk at you for 60, 90 minutes sometimes.

Sometimes this thing goes long. You know, it's thinking about that as well.

I mean, I try to keep the pods under 90 minutes and if that may be hovering just above an hour,

and it's fucking incredible to me how Joe Rogan does these like three-hour podcasts.

I mean, the man has a gift and I listen. I mean, maybe not all of it, but two and a half hours

sometimes I'll knock down and I enjoy most of it. The guy knows what he's doing.

What's going on in the world? Ah, the World Cup. It's like the semifinals, I think, four teams

are left. I gotta tell you, I'm done. It's enough already with this World Cup. It was fun.

I enjoyed it initially, but now what are we three weeks in? What are people not have jobs?

I mean, listen, I know that people love this. The whole sporting culture, people love it,

and it's so much wish fulfillment and living through other people. Sometimes you don't have a lot,

so to have your team represent you and who you are and where you come from.

And then to see them succeed, it's just, oh, what could be better, but inevitably it's just people

chasing a ball. I just, and I like sports. I do, but I just, I've got sort of a healthy

distance between me and the thing. You know what I mean? I don't cry tears of golden purple

for my Lakers. I just don't. I'm not that guy. And now after three weeks, there's a bit of
