Okay. Okay, all right, I'm starting the intro. How do you start something that's like your whole life wrapped up into a sentence and intro.

I guess I guess I'm gonna start with saying hello.

Hi.

I am Wesley and I am the host of Woke with Wesley.

This is a brand new podcast and to kick it off I thought a solo podcast by me

would be the most fitting, you know, kind of set the tone and I

got to introduce myself so you guys know more about me the actual person behind

the voice you're hearing right now and that you'll continue to

hear each and every Wednesdays. We're going to be dropping new episodes every Wednesday

and we thought, at least I thought it was super clever like woke with Wesley on Wednesdays.

This idea of doing a solo podcast was great in theory until I actually tried

recording a solo podcast a few times.

And people of the world,

you just need to know how ridiculous this feels.

Like, even more ridiculous than it felt

was how it sounded because no matter what I did like all the tweaks I tried to make and everything

it just ended up sounding like the world's longest voicemail it was like

Rambley and all over the place and I decided just to not do it and just

start recording episodes. I got more comfortable behind the mic so I

thought I'd give this another go and it just made me remember that above all else I am a writer I'm not so much of a

public speaker especially when it comes to myself and I bet this makes you feel like well why on earth

woman would you become a podcaster if you're not so much of a talker and I can tell you
