It's The Simple Show. You've got episode one.

Well, hello there, friends, and welcome to The Simple Show.

I'm Tishawkson Rider, and I'm a writer, traveler, entrepreneur, family gal, founder of the community

blog, the art of simple.net, and yep, podcaster.

I've been podcasting since 2011 with a show called The Art of Simple Podcast, and have had

an absolutely fantastic run with it.

I loved working with the people I did, and it gave me a good excuse to do one of my favorite

things.

Talk with the people I love. So, why this? Why start a new podcast, right? If it was going well,

why the need for something new? Well, good questions, and I want to inaugurate this new podcast,

the simple show, with a few thoughts about how this will be different and in many ways

how the podcast will stay the same. To get it out of the way, the main reason I'm starting over

with a new show is honestly really boring. It has to do with feeds and glitches and behind-the-scenes

technical stuff. After talking to several experts, quote, about some of the

dilemmas I was having, everyone agreed that it would probably be best to start a new feed with iTunes.

Well, that's all well and good, except it means losing our rates and reviews and asking listeners

to resubscribe, which is a total bummer. But in an effort to make lemonade from lemons, creating a new podcast feed does allow for a good

excuse to do some tidying up around here.

Maybe do a little rebranding, question what's been working, what hasn't, what should we

change.

And so, I'm making lemonade here and making a few changes. One thing is the name of the show,

The Simple Show. iTunes doesn't look favorably on new shows taking the name of an older show,
