Welcome in to the two for one draft podcast Austin Gill here with Mike Renner for our debut episode. I'm pretty excited. I think

0:13.6

we're going to get into a lot of draft, a lot of prospects, also a lot of

0:16.9

NFL rookies, but before we get into all the names, all the good stuff, we got to talk

0:20.5

about the PFF process. PFF grades every player on every single play at the NFL and college level.

0:26.3

That player evaluation process is an ongoing process. We're still learning, still throwing as evaluators,

0:31.6

but I know you have some insight on how that has developed.

0:34.0

Yeah, and I think that last thing you just said was the biggest thing and I wanted to be the first podcast,

0:38.8

just pull back the curtain and give you guys an in-depth look at basically what we're doing because now this is my

point where we're finding out what matters at which

1:05.5

positions, what translates the best.

1:07.5

And I think that is the ultimate goal of PFF.

1:10.7

1:24.2

going to be all of a sudden our highest graded quarterback in the draft. We want to

1:28.4

find out what are the aspects of each position that translate best from college into the NFL and that's been

1:34.5

the biggest thing that's evolved if you've followed us in the five years of doing

1:39.3

it we had some pretty ugly ones at the beginning there. We... Dion Jones.

1:44.0

Yeah, the Dion Jones miss, you know, the Paul Dawson pumping him up, Scooby-Wight.

1:48.3

We've missed a number of different positions and we actually, one of my projects I did this summer was go back and self-scout for us which
